How much money are you making this month? Billy Gillispie is bringing in $85,480 for his first five weeks as Texas Tech's men's basketball coach.
The Avalanche-Journal obtained a copy of Gillispie's contract on Thursday. The five-year deal includes an annual base salary of $300,000 and an additional $500,000 annually for "rights fees." That includes clothing and shoe contracts, his television and radio shows, speaking engagements and merchandise contracts.
